Republicans Have Momentum
Heading into the important filling period of the 2026 elections, which begins on November 1st and ends the second week of January, Republicans have substantial momentum.
Here are a few reasons for the momentum.
FEDERAL LEVEL:
1. Republicans continue to have BIG Legislative wins in Congress
a. They have lowered taxes, which stimulates the economy
b. They are protecting Life and defunding Planned Parenthood
c. They are ending Gender ideology and standing up for Girls Sports
d. They have Closed the Border
e. They are cracking down on crime (Making America Safe Again)
2. The Charlie Kirk assassination has awakened many folks who have NOT been politically active in the past to the fact that the Democrats have no plan to help our nation
3. President Trump continues to have weekly Executive Order wins that are re-shaping the federal government and our economy…AND we still have 3 more years to go!
4. The economy has rebounded from the Biden Inflation and shows signs of future growth, thanks to the One Big Beautiful Tax Cut Bill!
5. WOKE Ideology is being broken throughout our culture and being removed from our educational, business and governmental institutions. Merit Matters!
STATE LEVEL:
1. Republican dominate every office, but one!
a. State Senate is 32 Republican members to 6 Democrat members
b. State House is 81 Republican members to 19 Democrat members
c. All Constitutional Officers are Republican except for the Governor’s office
d. We will have a Republican Governor in 2027
2. Since 2017, The Republican Legislature has systemically changed the trajectory of Kentucky, producing unprecedented economic growth and job opportunities
a. Lowered personal income tax from 6% to 3.5%, saving the average Kentuckian over $2,000 per family
b. Fully funded all the pension systems, putting the funds back in a solid position
c. Cutting Regulations
d. Record Educational Funding in both K-12 and Higher ED
e. Conservative Budgeting, which has created the highest level of reserves in history
f. Moody’s Rating has improved from C rating to A rating
g. Record Road and Infrastructure funding, including I69 funding
h. Ky’s Competitiveness Rating has improved from a 42 in 2017 to a 26 in 2024
3. Election Integrity has been greatly improved, making out election process one of the most secure in the nation!
4. Energy Reliability and affordability is being prioritized. Energy Planning is also being addressed to pull together all the utilities to secure power within our state.
5. The state of Kentucky is now solidly a RED state with the Republican registered voters tallying 1.585 million and Democrat registered voters tallying only 1.380 million. Since 2017, Republicans have gained 235,000 while the Democrats have lost nearly 300,000!
